IMPORTANT TIMELINES

To ensure that your student(s) will have access to the bus for the first day of school, applications must be received by July 15 of each school year.

Registrations are required annually to transport student(s).
Primary address is address the student resided at. A registration is required for each primary address.
Alternate addresses are adresses for busing other than primary address. Additional fees will apply.

Eligible Rider – Students in Kindergarten to Grade 6 whose residence 1 KM or greater, and Students in Grade 7 to Grade 12 whose residence is 2 KM or greater, from designated school which student attends.

Ineligible Rider – Students in Kindergarten to Grade 6 whose residence is less than 1 KM and Students in Grade 7 to Grade 12 whose residence is less than 2 KM from designated school which student attends.

If at any time you wish to cancel the busing for your student(s), a bus cancellation form must be submitted. Please note, fees will not be adjusted without the Bus Cancellation form being submitted, even if your student(s) have never ridden the bus.

I have read and understand Policy 18 that outlines student eligibility. I have read, understand and agree to the Bus Handbook and Transportation Brochure. I understand and agree that all communications regarding transportation will be directed to the transportation coordinator and that I will not approach the driver to discuss these concerns. If my concern is about the route, bus stop location or bus driver these communications will be made in writing via the Parent Portal. I understand all other questions may be submitted via email to transportation@aspenview.org or by phone at 780 675 7080 ext. 16 I understand and agree to pay Transportation fees that apply to my child(ren)’s requirement as in Policy 18 (Appendix 1). I have read and understand my responsibilities as well as my child(ren)’s as outlined in A/P 550. I understand and agree that my child will follow the rules set out in A/P 356 along with Appendix 356-1. I have read and understood A/P 131 Inclement Weather, A/P 180 Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy and A/P 181 Video Surveillance .
